Commonly recognised as the red floral emblem of New South Wales, the waratah is a much-admired, native Australian flower. The name 'waratah' is derived from the Aboriginal word meaning beautiful. Its botanical name, 'telopea', comes from the Greek 'telopos' meaning 'seen from afar,' a reference to how the flowers conspicuously stand out like beacons in the wilderness.

This wax seal would be perfect for embellishing love letters, wedding invitations, envelopes, packaging, gift-wrapping, journal pages and more.
